The word for today is PEACE. We all want it...We
all need it...but it often seems just out of reach. We could blame satan, we
could blame people, but mostly we should blame ourselves. True that satan loves
to send and use people to disturb our PEACE but we should blame ourselves
because we let them.
John 14:27 says,
"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives
do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be
afraid."
When we have PEACE
our blood pressure is normal. our thoughts are clear and we can be more
productive as we go through our day. When we have PEACE we have joy. Finding
PEACE and keeping it may mean cutting out a few things...or distancing yourself
from some people that interfere with your PEACE.
PEACE is something
you can ask for and receive. It is God's will that we have PEACE. Philippians
4:6-7 says, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer
and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And
the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and
mind in Christ Jesus.
Tomorrow have a day
filled with PEACE.
